DD Osama (David DeShaun Reyes) was born in Harlem on November 29, 2006. That makes him 18 years old at the time of writing this article (January 2025).
He actually celebrated his 18th birthday in Miami with a wad of cash as big as his head. It doesn’t seem like momma Osama was there for the party. However, she did post a celebration pic of her “star.”

Speaking of the Osama/Reyes family, let’s check out where the young MC fits in. His eldest brother is Jalen Reyes (stage name JStar Balla), born in 1990. Next in line is his sister, Melz, who just celebrated her 25th birthday.
Justin Reyes (stage name JayKlickin). He was born in 2005, which makes him 20 now. Then, there’s David Reyes or DD Osama himself.

Side Note: Ethan Reyes (stage name Notti Osama), who would have been 16. Sadly, he died in a street fight a couple of years ago.

To be fair, he’s not the only one who thinks his art is this influential. For one, DD Osama’s fans will agree with this sentiment wholeheartedly.
However, RollingStone also included the MC in their list of 50 innovators shaping the genre over the next 50 years. And I think that’s a much less biased source.
