Move over Hollywood A-listers! There’s a new Dornan in town, and she’s already got the fans buzzing!
Alberta Dornan is the youngest daughter in a super-glam family. Her father is the Fifty Shades of Grey heartthrob Jamie Dornan and her mommy is the talented composer wife Amelia Warner. She’s only six years old, but she’s already a pint-sized mystery, wrapped in a bundle of charm.

The Dornan Dynasty
Born on the 17th of February 2019, Alberta Dornan is the third princess in the Dornan dynasty. On a trip to England, she joined her older sisters Dulcie, who was born in 2013, and Elva, born in 2016.
Right before this joyful event, Jami Dornan appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and talked about expecting his third child. He was quite emotional as he expressed his attachment to his two daughters, and excitement about expecting a third.
At one point, Jimmy Kimmel joked about having a large family, and floated around the idea that Jamie Dornan can have ten kids! The loveliest part is that the star didn’t scoff at the idea at all. He found that having many siblings at home would be enriching to all of them.
Throughout that interview, he was sure to mention his wife’s importance in their lives. His affection was just too genuine and endearing.
Fun fact: Dornan’s father was an obstetrician, and he birthed more than 6000 kids! However, he almost missed his wife’s delivery. He went out on a picnic, and she had to call him back to attend his son’s birth!
Dornan’s family dynamics are quite interesting. He recalls all the raucous things his elder sisters did to him when they were all just kids. At the end of the day, their parents asked them to write letters to each other to resolve any conflicts and apologise in a classy manner. Just wow!

Both parents have been vocal about their desire to raise their daughters away from the glare of public attention. In various interviews Dornan explained that he wanted his children to have as normal a life as possible.
Warner has echoed these sentiments in her own interviews, emphasizing the importance of creativity and imagination in their household. She told Belfast Telegraph emphatically, “I feel that we’re good at keeping things at a level of normality, and as long as we’re all together, it’s very simple for us.”
A Private Party
Jamie and Amelia are notoriously tight-lipped about their kids, and quite honestly, no one can blame them.
Then again, the proud dad occasionally shares sweet moments with his fans. One of these is his Instagram post on March 2022, where he celebrated the International Women’s Day by sharing a photo of Amelia and the trio holding hands. Here, Alberta was only three.

The shot didn’t show their faces though, which reflects the family’s commitment to keeping their private affairs private. He captioned it: “I’m nothing but a pile of dust without this crew. 💚 #internatinalwomensday”. Now, isn’t that the cutest thing ever!
Fast forward to 2025—Alberta’s six as of her February birthday, and Jamie’s dropped hints she’s thriving in London schooling. No classroom selfies, of course! But he bragged at length about her energy.
On Today with Hoda & Jenna in 2024, he gushed, “It’s the best. I don’t know any other way. Three girls—I’m not sure I could deal with the energy of boys!”
Is He Really a Girl Dad?
Jamie Dornan isn’t shy about being a proud parent, or how much he enjoys the company of three little ladies and their mom. He’s pretty much the poster boy of “girl dad” vibes.
In an interview with The Times, he said, “Being a dad is the best. I feel a healthy and lovely duty to provide for my kids, and I really like it. It suits me.” And when Alberta was on the way, he told Us Weekly, “I’m very, very excited—as excited as I was the first two times.” Swoon!
He even flexed his dad skills on Late Night with Seth Meyers, joking about Dulcie’s “world-champion door slammer phase” and planning to catch her on camera with door softeners. Relatable king!

The Belfast Telegraph recounts another beautiful moment with Jonathan Anderson during a Loewe event, where he said, “The best part of being a daddy? The hugs. Having three girls, I’m getting lots and lots of hugs.” Cue the collective “aww”!
A Sparkling Future
At six, Alberta’s too young for red carpets, but the gossip mill’s churning. Jamie’s hinted his girls are “very creative, cool, talented little people who are performers,” he added jokingly that they’re “perfect little nepo babies!”
With Alberta’s hurricane energy and her sisters’ flair. Many fans wonder if she will inherit Jamie’s brooding charm or Amelia’s musical genius? Maybe both, making her a triple threat by grade school!
