During the Second Battle of Bull Run General Pope led the Union Army, and General Lee led the Confederate Army. The Union started with 63,000 troops and the Confederate Army started with 54,000 troops. There was about 14,000 casualties on the Union side and another 9,300 casualties on the Confederate side. The outcome was that the Confederates won.
